With about 2,000,000 pieces of clothing per year throughout Europe and about 1,800 clients, Tomasoni Topsail is a consolidated business that is expanding steadily, thanks above all to the work of more than 200 collaborators, including many young talents that the company nurtures and through whom it loves to grow. Tomasoni is also the exclusive distributor and leader in Italy in the sector of specialised sailing products, which have always been deeply rooted in the origins of this company: Ronstan, Clamcleat, FSE Robline, Tuff-Luff, Lopolight, Andersen, BSI Moonlight, Henri Lloyd Sailing, Karver, Nomem.

  • 1973

    Start-up with three Tomasoni Yachting & Sport stores in Riva del Garda, Rimini and Genoa, specialized in the sale of technical equipment and clothing for the yachting world.

  • 1980

    Mistral brand distribution. Mistral

  • 1983

    Diversification into the sportswear market with distribution of the Henri Lloyd "Consort Original" jacket and focus on designing high-range sportswear lines.

  • 1986

    Start of relationship with North Sails group and launch of sportswear collections linked to the yachting brand.

  • 1999

    Acquisition of the Outrage brand. Outrage

  • 2001

    Start of the America’s Cup project (Partnership with Alinghi).

  • 2003

    Launch of the North Sails’ women’s collections.

  • 2007

    Launch of the North Sails’ kids’ collections.

  • 2010

    Company reorganization to face new market challenges.

    Acquisition license Ivy League and Official Clothing Supplier of Emirates Team New Zealand.
